GOOD TO KNOW

CAPACITY

The capacity of the event space is 25 seated adults/30 people total. The equipment

and space needed for your session will mean that capacity will have to

be adjusted accordingly. Our staff will help to ensure that these limits are

upheld, but we ask you to take responsibility, as the named host, to

monitor the numbers in the space.

SET UP

You will be responsible for setting up for your event. If you are

using any electrical equipment, we ask that you ensure that it is safety

tested and that all plugs and cables are safely employed during your

event. 30 minutes are allocated after the end of your hire for clean up purposes.

Failure to leave the space as found will result in a £10 cleaning charge.

ACCESS

Our event space is downstairs and therefore not directly pram

accessible. We have a small pram park area available on the ground

floor, suitable for 4 prams. We ask you to please encourage attendees to

bring a car seat or baby carrier whenever possible.

TOILETS

Our toilet and baby changing facilities are located in the basement on

the same level as the events space.

FIRST AID

Our First Aid kits are located one in the Parenting Space Kitchen and the

other is located at the till on the ground floor. Some of our staff is First

Aid trained. In the event of an accident, please alert a first aider and help

us by filling in our Accident Book.

FIRE SAFETY

In the event of a fire, you will hear a fire alarm. Please exit the events

space through the Fire Exit through the door into the close at the far end

of the Events Space. Make your way along the back pathway and up the

stairs that lead to the back lane. Please then cross the road and muster

outside The Bungo. Our staff will assist you in evacuating the attendees

of your event. There is a Carbon Dioxide and a Foam Spray fire

extinguisher located to the left of the events entrance way.
