Our cloth nappy kits provide the perfect solution for you and your families, with the option to try before you buy, you can test out a sustainable approach to nappies without the significant upfront cost.
We offer two types of kits to cater to your specific needs:
Our Newborn Kits feature nappies designed to fit newborns up to 18lbs, making them ideal for those early months before you’re ready to invest in larger sizes! Choose between 4, 8 or 12 week hire and take the guess work out of cloth nappies. Better for your wallet and better for the planet!
Our Birth to Potty (BTP) Kits are suitable for babies from around 10lbs to 35lbs and contain a range of different types of nappies. Unlike our Newborn Kits, these are not designed for full-time use but rather to give you an opportunity to test out all sorts of different types and brands and decide which ones are for you!
How does hiring the kit work?
Hire out a Cloth Nappy kit here on our website - we will contact you when to pick it up at the shop via email and pay a refundable deposit at the shop. Return within 4 weeks. Any questions during your hire then our shop team are sound to help, or contact glasgowclothnappies@gmail.com
Cost of the nappy kits: £25 hire fee for 4 weeks with a £20 security deposit to be paid at the shop upon collection.
What is included in the kit hire?
Newborn Kit: Comes in a Merry-go-round jute bag with a nappy pail and mesh bag for dry pailing. We also include a travel wet bag for on the go. The kit contains 15 2-part nappy inserts with 7 waterproof wraps, as well as liners and boosters. This should be enough for full-time or part-time use. These nappies will fit babies from 0 to 18lbs, after which point your baby will be ready to transition to birth to potty! Check out the NB Kit Guide.
BTP kits: Comes in a large wet bag with a nappy pail and mesh bag for dry pailing. We also include a travel wet bag for on the go. The kit has 13 nappies including terry cloth, pocket nappy, all-in-ones and 2 part nappies. We have included different brands, sizes and styles to give you a chance to try several options and choose what’s best for you before you make the investment! Check out the BTP Kit Guide.
