We're back! (Nearly!)

At last we can finally see things slowly evolving to a new normal … and that means being able to open up more services to our lovely community!

After all the efforts our team has made behind the scenes putting new procedures in place for us to begin taking donations again and for us to be able to offer you access to low cost goods through our new click and collect system we’ve been starting to feel a lot more normal. We are super excited to get going again after bringing all our staff back from furlough, so a huge THANK YOU for bearing with us.

We thought that while we put in place our final measures for reopening, we would give you all a round up of what has been happening so far…

Click and Collect:

Our brand new click & collect service has now been running successfully for 4 weeks…we have loved seeing all your pics and feedback on our lucky dip bundles! We are SO happy we have been able to continue to provide you guys with pre-loved bargains through this service and would like to say thank you for following our new hygiene guidance, helping to keep our staff and community safe!

If you have not yet took a peek at our online shop, it is now home to a range on pre-selected bundles including clothing and books as well as extra items such as ride on’s, toys and baby equipment and more! These bundles are specially picked and packed by MGR staff to ensure maximum bargains and cuteness!

We know this is not how you will be used to shopping with us, however rest assured we have made sure our process is super simple! Just head on over to our online shop, pick up some pre-loved bargains and await a confirmation email from our team to arrange your collection slot.

Donations:

Lock down has allowed many of us to have huge clear outs and we know a lot of you might have donations waiting at home ready to drop off! As always, we very much appreciate everything your choose to donate to us and we love that some of you have already started dropping off donations in line with our new guidelines! We have started to accept certain categories of items and over the coming weeks we will be opening this up to include more. However, for this to happen we need to continue to work together. 

For the first time, we are asking you to self sort donations at home, allowing us to accept them in a phased approach while adhering to the government advice to quarantine all donations received for 72 hours. Our donations team have been doing amazing work to allow this to happen and for us to already be able to accept donations again. From the week beginning 20th July 2020, we’ll be accepting Plastics, baby/maternity electrical goods as well as wooden baby items. Going forward we hope to be accepting donations according to our info graphic at the top of the article.
